I study how people make sense of themselves and one another through digital cultures, especially masculinity, identity, affect, humour and online communities.
Hello & welcome
I'm a researcher with a background in psychology and sociological research. I studied Psychology at Kingston University London and Sociological Research at the University of Manchester .
My work uses qualitative and interpretive approaches to explore digital life, identity and emotion. I'm especially interested in how online narratives become meaningful in everyday life, and how humour, interaction and shared feeling shape belonging.
I wanted to make an academic Homepage and i thought, "My resarch is about the internet, I should be more internet." Et voila.
Current and previous work
Proposed doctoral research: Digital masculinities, biography and subjectivity. This project asks how men's biographies and social circumstances shape their engagements with digital cultures of masculinity, and how those engagements, in turn, affect the ways they interpret themselves and their relationships.

Incels.is
A qualitative study of affect, humour, identity and belonging in online incel discussions,
examining 24 discussion threads through thematic and interactionally oriented discourse
analysis.
BSc dissertation — Kingston University London:
An Analysis of Identity Formation in an Online Incel Community
A theoretically informed thematic analysis of online identity formation drawing on social
identity theory, self-categorisation theory and Sara Ahmed's concept of affective economies.
Teaching & academic support
- NMIMS, Mumbai (2025–2026): Facilitated undergraduate workshops on internet psychology, memes and digital communication, and supported teaching in criminal psychology.
- Kingston University London (2023–2025): Supported undergraduate students through one-to-one mentoring, research-methods teaching assistance and wider academic guidance.
- Ashtitwa Social Welfare Foundation (2025): Facilitated workshops and guidance sessions for school students and teachers in Shirpur, India.
